Standard Emirates Package Musandam

SUNDAY.

Pick up at Dubai Airport and transfer to the hotel. Our English speaking assistant* will be waiting for you and your driver at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to take you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Morning Sharjah Tour. We will pick you up from your hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 AM, to arrive at the meeting point, in time to start the tour at 9:00 AM to another of the Emirates. The Emirate of Sharjah is located half an hour from Dubai. Sharjah was named the ‘Cultural Capital of the Arab World’ by UNESCO in 1998.

We will visit its traditional markets, highlighting its Central Market, also known as Blue Souk, composed of six buildings with more than 600 shops. The Museum of Islamic Civilisation, formerly known as the Islamic Museum, with more than five thousand objects organised by theme in seven large galleries. We will continue with a panoramic tour of the city passing by some of its mosques such as the King Faisal Mosque. We will also see the Pearl Monument, the Culture Monument, also known as Quran Square, and its famous University. Return to your hotel in Dubai.

In the afternoon Desert Safari 4 x 4. In the early afternoon, the Desert Safari 4×4 will pick you up in a 4×4 vehicle. They will take you straight into the heart of the desert for a thrilling ride through the dunes with expert drivers. And all the way to a camp, where the English speaking assistant will be waiting for you. Dinner, Tanoura show and belly dancing included. You can also dress up in traditional costumes, taste Arabic sweets and get tattoos with henna painting. You can learn about the important role falcons play in local life, smoke a water pipe and ride a camel. Finally transfer from the camp to your hotel in Dubai.

TUESDAY:

Dubai Contrasts Tour. Duration 8 hours, including lunch*, English speaking guide and in small groups. We will pick you up from your hotel between 9:00 and 9:30 AM, to arrive at the departure point of the tour, with enough time to start the tour at ten in the morning. In just one day we will visit all the places that we consider essential in this city, in spite of its long extension. We will start with a visit to the Al Farooq Mosque.

The next stop will be a photo stop with the best view of the world famous Burj Al Arab, considered the most luxurious hotel in the world. We will visit Madinat Jumeirah, one of the most attractive shopping arcades in Dubai. Then we will cross Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree and a masterpiece of engineering. We will arrive at the Atlantis The Palm Hotel, where we will make a photo stop. From there to Dubai Marina, one of the most modern areas of the city with its sea channel, full of modern skyscrapers. Lunch*.

Then to the traditional district of Bastakiya, where we will walk through its ancient alleys. We will go through the Cloth Souk until we reach the pier to take an Abra, a traditional barge, to reach the other side of the cove, an experience not to be missed. Spice Souk and Gold Souk. Continue towards Souk Al Bahar, the best place to enjoy the Dubai Fountain show, the dancing fountains. And where is the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Finally transfer to the hotel.

WEDNESDAY:

Abu Dhabi Tour. Duration 8 hours, including lunch*, English speaking guide and in small groups. We will pick you up from your hotel from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, to arrive at the meeting point in time to start the tour at 10:00 AM. We will drive to Abu Dhabi, where we will visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, known as the ‘Grand Mosque’.

Afterwards we will have a panoramic view of the Al Nahyan Family Palaces. Then a photo stop at the Emirates Palace Hotel, which was the most expensive hotel in the world to build, arriving at Heritage Village, where we will stop. Then we will pass by Union Square, where we will see the symbols of Arab culture. We will then arrive at the place where we will enjoy a buffet lunch* and interesting views of the city, with the sea in the background from the 14th floor. 

After lunch* we will continue to the Louvre Museum, inaugurated on 11 November 2017, for a photo stop with the best views of its now famous dome. On the way to the Louvre Museum we will take a panoramic tour of the beautiful Corniche. Then we will go to Masdar City, a prototype of how cities will be in the future, 100% sustainable. We will continue to Ferrari World for a stop with enough time to take pictures and buy some merchandising. From Ferrari World Abu Dhabi we start our return to Dubai. Finally transfer to the hotel.

THURSDAY:

Fujairah and Khor Fakkan Tour. Duration 8 hours including lunch*, English speaking guide and in small groups. We will pick you up from your hotel from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, to arrive at the meeting point in time to start the tour at 10:00 AM. We will drive from Dubai to Khor Fakkan, on the east coast of the UAE, where one of the country's main container ports is located. 

We continue to Fujairah, situated on the slopes of the Hajar Mountains. Here we will have a panoramic visit of the Great Mosque, called the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, as it is under construction, and our guide will explain its history and architecture. Afterwards we will have a panoramic tour of the city and its historic centre to reach its quiet white sandy beaches, which gave the city the nickname of ‘The Jewel of Arabia’. 

We will continue with a visit to the Fujairah Museum and the Al Bithnah Fort, built in 1670. We will then arrive at the place where we will enjoy a buffet lunch*. We will leave the city behind and head to Al Badiyah Mosque, which is the oldest mosque built in the country. We will then return to Dubai, making a stop at the Masafi markets. This is the city that has given its name to one of the most consumed mineral waters in the country. And where part of the city belongs to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the other part to the Emirate of Fujairah. Finally transfer to the hotel.

FRIDAY:

Cruise around the Musandam Peninsula which belongs to the neighbouring country of Oman. The best way to get to know Musandam is to take a relaxing cruise in the traditional Dhows to get into the high limestone mountains. We will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning, around 9:00 AM, to take you to the port of Dibba. From here the cruise departs on a traditional Omani Dhow, but don't forget to bring your original passport with you as you will be asked for it at the Omani border.

The Musandam Fjords are one of the most unique biospheres in the world with incredible marine life. During the cruise we will stop for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and fishing. We will also be offered a buffet lunch on board with Arabic cuisine, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks. After four hours of sailing we will return to the port of Dibba (Oman). Upon completion of this cruise, you will be taken back to your hotel in Dubai, arriving around 7:30 PM.

SATURDAY.

Transfer to Dubai International Airport. After picking up your bags at the hotel, our driver will take you to Dubai International Airport (DXB), to take your flight back to your home city or other destination. We recommend a minimum departure time of three hours to the airport.
